Venue was easy to get to from public transportation

Overview Notes:
The room was not haunted house scary, more investigative creepy. I would recommend bringing 3 or more players, as one puzzle would be difficult with less.
The Venue
Venue / Lobby Info:
The venue was underground, and the lobby was well designed. There is a photo booth in the lobby, as well as beautiful murals that are paintings of their in-game characters and themes. There are lockers to lock up your belongings, and clean restrooms.
Public Restrooms: Yes
Refreshments: No
Notes for People with Disabilities:
The venue is down a flight of stairs and to my knowledge, cannot be accessed without walking down stairs.
The Game
Game Introduction: The game introduction was done by the game master both inside and outside of the room. A briefing was shown as to how to use locks, and simple rules. The players were then taken into the room, so to set the scene for the next hour. The game master did a good job of conveying our mission to us.
Operator Intro: Exciting - takes you into the story
Theme: Investigation, Crime, Mystery,_crime, mystery
Narrative: Solve the Murder
Main room first glance: Wow!
The first room is only a small portion of the set, and will open up after the first puzzle sequence. The first room feels like a crime scene, with many things to inspect and search through. The game further opens up into a vast setting that blew us away! Without spoiling anything, I had to check whether we were actually in an escape room, or taken outside.
Flow: Excellent flow - flawless and coherent
The puzzles lead into one another in a linear fashion, but certain puzzles required backtracking to other areas. There was one main area in the game, with other branches of different scenes to go between. The puzzles clued well into one another.
Puzzles: Well thought of. Intriguing
The puzzles were a ton of fun, and had many interesting interactions. One late game prop blew us away, and was a technical element we had never seen executed as flawlessly before. There were many physical interactions with the set that were fun, yet slightly unsettling (not a bad thing!).
Game Strengths:
Puzzles, set design, atmosphere, flow, unique interactions.
Game Weaknesses:
One or two more puzzles could really bring this game up a notch, as it felt slightly lacking in puzzles compared to the other games at Locked.
Hints & Clues, Debrief
Method: Walkie Talkie
Quality: Excellent (They have advanced the game, built-in escalation, no answer-disclosing)
Closure & Debrief: Excellent (Catharsis)
Final Thoughts:
The Serial Killer 2 room is a wonderful addition to the already powerful lineup at Locked, and is really a standout in the area. Make sure to check this room out when in the area, as well as The Research Base room!!
