Parking lot with thousands of spots for the mall
There are no reservations at this location - it is first come, first serve. It is a ~30 minute adventure, and while it is not a typical 'escape room', it is the best crossover experience currently in the North East market for beginners.
Venue / Lobby Info:
This mall has a ferris wheel, bowling alley, movie theater, and gokarts within. It is truly a weekend destination. 5 Wits is located on the upper level. The lobby had props, t-shirts, and random items for sale. There is no available seating. Upon entry to the venue, you notice the three doors 'leading to each adventure' as well as a token box next to the door. Upon entry, you purchase the tokens for the adventures you wish to play, and stand by the door for the next adventure to begin.
Public Restrooms: Yes
Notes for People with Disabilities:
The mall itself is ADA compliant. This room has a bypass built into the adventure for those who can't/won't crawl. Please call ahead for any particular necessary accommodations. There is one place to sit in the mid-point of the game.
Game Introduction: An interactive book tells the story, I cannot provide more information.
Operator Intro: Exciting - takes you into the story
Theme: Fantasy / Fiction
Main room first glance: Wow!
This is one of those experiences where I cannot divulge information without giving critical components away.
Flow: Excellent flow - flawless and coherent
The rooms are designed where you solve a few puzzles to move onto the next room. It is concise, clear, and beautifully orchestrated.
Puzzles: Well thought of. Intriguing
While simple enough for a 7-8 year old to complete, the puzzles found within are a lot of fun! This room uses a lot of color puzzles.
Fun, fast, beautiful adventure for a family or group of friends to enjoy. Accessible to smaller children while still being entertaining to adults.
On a busy night, you can be waiting several hours to play, or play in a group much larger than preferred.
