Ease Of Booking :

Incredibly easy and intuitive booking system. Can book on both website and over the phone, staff is always there to help out.

Entrance Rating:

Lobby : The lobby had some lobby puzzles, and was very modern and clean. The overall atmosphere was great and welcoming.

Hospitality : They had restrooms and bathrooms, and both the owner and an employee were incredibly nice and helped us out a lot!

Time Keeping : They were somewhat flexible and laid back when it came to our time, so when we showed up a minute late they were not worried. They have enough time between games to accommodate it seems, which was very nice of them.

Briefing Details : The briefing was great and really fit with the theme of the room. We were laughing along with the owner, and really felt like we were in the subway station. There was a place to sit for the briefing, which was a nice change.

Operator Intro : Exciting - takes you into the story

Operators :

The operators were great! They knew what they were doing and knew their rooms well.

The Game :

The game was really great. With some tweaking with the hint and timer systems, this room will be one of the must see in NYC.

The Venue :

The venue was great, definitely check them out if you are in the area!

Main Room - First Glance :

Wow!

Your goal was to stop the subway from going off of the tracks and saving yourself and passengers on the train. The main room really took you into the scene, and the set was incredibly designed. The attention to detail was top of the line. The immersion played a big part in this, which was great.

Flow :

Excellent flow - flawless and coherent

The game made sense, and flow'd well! Everything led to everything else, and there were no logic leaps.

Puzzles :

Well thought of. Intriguing

The puzzles were all very different, and had some elements that we had not seen before. These elements were a lot of fun, and led to a lot of "A-ha!" moments throughout the game, which are the best! There was a small prize at the end, which I will not spoil; we are never fans of prizes, but this one was great.

Hints & Clues : The hint system was not explicitly stated, which was not a problem. We did not have any issues getting clues or receiving them, but there was no limit for clues.

Policy: Loose or no policy

Hints & Clues Quality: The hints were delivered by walkie-talkie, which was not our favorite but was a good quick fix for them, considering they just opened up 2 months ago. They plan on implementing a different system in the near future, but the system was not bad. We only got 1 hint during the game, so it was not an issue for us. The game master would help you only when you really needed help.

Quality: Excellent (They have advanced the game, built-in escalation, no answer-disclosing)

Closure & Debrief :

Excellent (Catharsis)

The debrief was great, and wrapped up the story well. There was a lot more game than we expected, which was nice.

Final Thoughts:

If you're looking for a fun, introductory escape room, and really enjoy a good set - this is a great option. It's kid-friendly with puzzles a tween would find fun, while still being engaging to adults.
