Due to the linear nature of this game, I would not recommend groups larger than 4-5 players. Experienced duos or trios will be comfortable with the allotted time vs. puzzles to explore.
Venue / Lobby Info:
A long narrow hallway opens up into a reception area. Cute seating lines the walls, begging for a wine + escape kinda night.

Notes for People with Disabilities:
Call ahead prior to booking. Expect some ducking/crouching, as well as problem solving in low light.
Game Introduction: Mirror Mirror on the wall... Who's the most daring of them all???
Operator Intro: Exciting - takes you into the story
Theme: Fantasy / Fiction
Narrative: Be an Adventurer
Main room first glance: Wow!
We find ourselves in a beautiful castle. Although the setting is dark, the beautiful set pieces will catch your eye. From the stained glass on the walls, to the gigantic mirror.. There's a wow! factor in here.
Flow: Very Good and coherent flow
Things aren't always what they appear to be within this Escape Room! Dragonborne looks like a simplistic, easy game from the beginning, but with no starting point! This room involves lots of exploring to uncover the next step(s).
Puzzles: Good puzzles
Seek and you shall find... A significant portion of the gaming within this room revolves around your searching ability. Puzzles range from easy to moderate difficulty. Several puzzles stay on theme, creating a fun environment to explore.
Approachable puzzle design and theme attracts non traditional Escape Room players - Attention to set details and puzzle design - FUN!
Low light makes some puzzles more difficult than they ought to be. With nowhere to write notes within the game, there was a frustrating moment or two where having this ability would come in hand.
Hints & Clues, Debrief
Quality: Excellent (They have advanced the game, built-in escalation, no answer-disclosing)
Closure & Debrief: Very Good
Dragonborne brings a family friendly, beautiful spin on what an Escape Room experience 'should' be. It's a fun game, perfect for beginners or more experienced players. I welcome the addition to the Hartford Escape Room community and eagerly await their future games to open! Lara's Labyrinth truly elevates the overall quality of games to be found within the area.
Did You Escape: Yes
