GuReview - The Mission

Ease Of Booking :
They were really great for booking, and it was incredibly easy!
Lobby : The lobby was welcoming and simplistic. There were lockers for you to lock your things, and lobby puzzles. The staff was very friendly.
Hospitality : There was water, restrooms, and lockers for the players. Everyone there was incredibly nice, and would get you anything you needed. It was clean and well designed as well.
Time Keeping : The time keeping was not an issue, we arrived a minute late and they have enough room between their bookings to accommodate for issues with trains.
Briefing Details : The briefing was detailed and made a lot of sense. We were trying to determine the identity of an undercover spy and take him down, and the briefing really build that story.
Operator Intro : Exciting - takes you into the story
The operators were great throughout the game!
The Game :
The game was great, definitely one to check out when you are in NYC. This is already a must see, but with the addition of a better hint system and time system, this game will be one of the best in the city.
The Venue :
Great venue- they really put a lot of effort into their set designs and it paid off.
Main Room - First Glance :
Nice & Neat!
The room looked like an authentic spy's office, and had some really interesting set pieces. We really appreciated some of the puzzles that were flawlessly integrated into the set.
Excellent flow - flawless and coherent
The puzzles flow'd really well throughout, there were no moments where we were confused, and everything made a lot of sense. The progression of the room was great.
Well thought of. Intriguing
The puzzles were very interesting, and used a lot of technology we had not seen before. The different types of puzzles in this room were definitely different than what you would see elsewhere in NYC.
Hints & Clues : You received hints when you needed them, and there was no strict policy on this.
Policy: Loose or no policy
Hints & Clues Quality: The hints were delivered through a walkie-talkie, which was a temporary plan until they install an official hint system. This worked well for the time being, but was not our favorite.
Quality: Excellent (They have advanced the game, built-in escalation, no answer-disclosing)
Closure & Debrief :
The debrief was great and tied together the story. Everything made sense at the end.
Venue Description: The venue was inside of an office building-- you had to call the game masters to get into the building. This did not prove to be a problem.
Public Transportation : Excellent
NYC is very easy to get around on the Subway. The PATH train lets out a few blocks away from here, it was incredibly easy.
Parking : Paid parking, next to the venue
Parking is horrible in NYC, I advise taking the train or bus.
Narrative: Carry out an Assassination
