Venue / Lobby Info:
Venue is located within an industrial park, next to a car dealership. Once you arrive at the entrance you have the option of stairs or elevator to bring you to the 2nd floor. There is a large, clean lobby area, with a couple of seats. With 30+ people capable of being in the lobby at the same time (4 games!), don't arrive too early! More seating is definitely needed.
Public Restrooms: Yes
Notes for People with Disabilities:
Venue is ADA compliant, as are the escape rooms. Call prior to booking if you have any questions!
Game Introduction: Our GM showed us a statue, and told us a tale surrounding it. We have an hour to escape and break the curse!
Operator Intro: Interesting
Theme: Fantasy / Fiction
Narrative: Be an Adventurer
Main room first glance: OK
The first thing you notice upon entry is a huge barn door that looks like you have to open it, and a large terminal/desk occupying one corner of the room. While this set is a step above the other rooms at this location, it still feels like a converted office space.
Flow: Very Good and coherent flow
With the help of our wonderful in-room GM, this experience has a beautiful split flow, keeping two groups of puzzlers busy for the entirety of the experience. For the most part, we knew what we were supposed to do each step of the way, and the GM nudged us where needed.
Puzzles: Some of them were great (matched promised level)
The puzzles found within this experience ranged from mundane (a brand new room.. in 2018... with a faulty Tangram puzzle) to the extraordinary. The tech is not hidden, and most of the GM's focus within the room was spent explaining the nuances of the tech puzzles found within. Some of the puzzles are brilliant, but without a step by step guide to the tech, are near impossible. No instructions are found within the room - so be nice to your GM! Pro Tip: There's a large amount of written information to keep track of within this room, so make sure to write small and take careful notes!
Unique, never seen before puzzles - Beautiful flow - Exceeded expectations
The set is not immersive - faulty tech - game play is dependent on in-room GM's assistance
